Around 11am today, we went to Warisan Square and planned to check out the promotion at Yoshimi. Unfortunately, the restaurant only start operating at 11.30am. As we were quite hungry, we decided to check out the Korean restaurant which had been recommended by one of our blog's viewer.
Koryo-Jeong Korean Restaurant is located next to Fratinni Italian Restaurant or more specifically, above Maxis. If I'm not mistaken, this restaurant only started operating not long ago. It is operated by a husband and wife couple who are very friendly.
Pork Scotch Fillet, RM28.00
We ordered a Pork Scotch Fillet which used the pork meat from the shoulder of the pig. According to the owner, it taste better and less fats. While the lady's owner was grilling the pork, we can smell the strong aroma of the pork. Its really made us salivating. Through out the process of grilling, she will cut-off the excessive fats on the pork.
The Pork Scotch Fillet was good especially if you eat it together with the lettuce and the bean paste sauce. It was well-cooked and doesn't have the oily taste. My only qualm was the bean paste sauce tasted a little bit too salty to my liking (I would preferred it to have a hint of sweetness).
Yummy...slurp!
Lettuce, RM6.00
Green Onion Pancake, RM18.00
The Green Onion Pancake tasted great. There's really nothing to complain about. Crispy and fragrantly good with loads of chives and seafood. It is quite similar to our Chinese Green Onion Pancake but this version was cooked with less flour and more eggs. Not to forget the condiment sauce that tasted good and successfully bring out more flavour to the pancake.
Stone Pot Bibimbap, RM20.00
The Stone Pot Bibimbap was delicious!! Supul and Koryo-Jeong will be my toplist for having Korean Bibimbap. I like the vegetables that had bring out more aroma to the rice, it tasted like mints leaves but I'm not so sure.
We didn't ordered much dishes this time as we were worried that we couldn't finish. We missed out the Sam Ge Tang. I guessed it would be good as it was cooked with Whole Organic Chicken and it only cost RM38. However, there will always be a second chance. We are sure that we will be back soon.
Total Damages, RM79.20
A prove to show that we were really satisfy with all the dishes. We polished off all the dishes.
