Anantara Mai Khao Phuket Villas First in Thailand to Offer Go-Pro Cameras to All Guests

Travelers to Thailand no longer need to pack bulky cameras because paradise just got a technology upgrade. Guests at Anantara Mai Khao Phuket Villas can forget the battery packs and memory sticks at home and instead avail of the resorts in-house Go-Pro cameras to create and edit memorable experiences as part of their stay.

Whether its exploring the hidden treasures of the resort, chillaxing by the pool with loved ones, filming a traditional Spice Spoons cooking class with the kids, or releasing rare turtles on the beach, guests can now capture these once in a lifetime moments, courtesy of the resort. Borrowing a camera is the first step in creating holiday memories through film, sharing your journey at the resort and beyond for friends and families to enjoy via social media channels then follows.

To celebrate this ‘first’ for Thailand, Anantara Mai Khao Phuket Villas is inviting guests to capture their tropical indulgence in a personalised video with the chance to win a further five night stay to relive their spectacular memories over and over again.
Amateur filmmakers are encouraged to film the resorts lush green gardens, show their rush of excitement over the sparkling sea or find their true holiday inspiration and capture it in a 15 seconds mini movie masterpiece. The resort will also provide easy-to-use editing software for any guest who wants to fine tune their Anantara Mai Khao moments. Just by giving their video to the hotel team to upload to social media before check-out, guests are automatically entered into the competition.

A team of judges on property will award videos that best showcase the Anantara Mai Khao Phuket Villas experience. The new initiative aims to enrich the Anantara Mai Khao guest experience and provide guests with exceptional memories. All participants will also be able to take away their footage and final video on a souvenir Anantara USB drive.
Anantara Mai Khao Phuket Villas has been instrumental in providing up to date guest experiences with the resort being the first in Thailand to provide i-pads to guests back in 2010. For more information on the competition please go to http://phuket.anantara.com/maikhaomoments/ - entries close May 31st, 2016.
