The Asian Food Channel (AFC), part of the Scripps Networks family of lifestyle networks and Asia’s first and only 24 hour regional food and lifestyle channel, will film its first travel reality series in the Philippines at the end of this year.
The programme, which is co-presented by the Department of Tourism Philippines will give ten (10) participants from around Asia a once in a life time opportunity to experience delicious and authentic cuisine of the Philippines in an array of scenic and untouched locations. Each week, the chosen few will compete in a series of intense culinary and physical challenges set by the AFC team, and those who fall short, will be at the mercy of the elimination rounds. However, every dark cloud has a silver lining, contestants also stand a chance to win over USD 50,000 worth of cash and prizes and for the grand winner, the reigning title of an “AFC Star”! Judged by an impressive line up of local chefs and AFC Celebrities, you can be sure that this is an experience not to be missed!
