Sutera Harbour Resort’s 1st Gourmet Fest A Success Story

Nine days, three brilliant chefs and a mix of good company resulted in a success story for Sutera Harbour Resort and Winecellars newly introduced Gourmet Fest 2013. The Sutera Harbour Resort and Winecellars Gourmet Fest 2013 kicked off with the impressive Opening Night, held at The Magellan Sutera Resort’s Tariks Lobby Lounge to introduce the three Guest Chefs showcasing their signature dishes during the fest period.
Held from May 11 to 19, the festival showcased three prominent Guest Chefs – Italian Chef Carmelo Greco from Carmelo Greco, Italy, Chef Roy Wong from Palace of the Golden Horses in Kuala Lumpur and Chef S K Sabuddin from Istana Hotel, Kuala Lumpur.

There were three Host Nights helmed by the three Guest Chefs, which went successfully well with all seats taken up by fine dining enthusiasts. Various side activities were also lined up throughout the nine days with the finale being the Sunset Wine @ Sutera evening, which is an evening of sampling some of the best imported wines from Winecellars.
The Sutera Harbour Resort and Winecellars Gourmet Fest 2013 introduced this year is expected to become a yearly event, one of many significant events organised by the Resort. It is in collaboration with Winecellars, Kota Kinabalu’s leading specialist in premium wines.
