Win a Volkswagen Polo Sedan at 2013 PIHex
The biggest risk in buying property this year is that you could win a Volkswagen Polo sedan sponsored by Volkswagen KK! Volkswagen KK is wholly managed by DKV Automobile Sdn Bhd. Its Managing Director Dicky Vun said, “Property buyers at the upcoming Sabah’s 2013 Property Investment and Home Expo (PIHex) will have a chance to win the Polo worth more than RM100,000.”
George John (Assistant Sales Manager at DKV Automobil Sdn Bhd), Michael Hiew (Director of PIHex and Property Hunter) and Dicky Vun (Managing Director of Volkswagen KK by DKV Automobil Sdn Bhd)
“The condition is that for every RM100,000 value of property purchase price, each purchaser is entitled to 1 draw ticket. Therefore, for a property with a sale value of RM500,000 would entitled the confirmed purchaser to 5 draw tickets. To be eligible, buyers must commit booking fees on PIHex event days, and upon signing the sale and purchase agreement, they will receive the draw ticket,” he explained.
That’s good news for property investors snapping up properties on show only at the upcoming Sabah’s 2013 Property Investment and Home Expo (PIHex) open from 10 am to 8 pm.
PIHex will be held in Kota Kinabalu at the Sabah Trade Centre from May 10 to 12, 2013. In Sandakan it will be on June 14 to 16 at the Yu Yuan Secondary School and in Tawau from July 12 to 14 at the Promenade Hotel.
What’s the big deal driving the VW Polo to be won at PIHex?
Besides the reliable German engineering and safety, you need only to service it once a year like an annual property maintenance check.
The economical 1.2 litre Polo dishes out its 175 Nm of torque from as low as 1,550 rpm while the Myvi gets you 136 at 4,400.
The TSI engine is also paired with the very pleasing seven- speed DSG that ensures quick shifts to the right ratio all the time making overtaking in city traffic is a breeze.
Despite having more torque in reserve than, say, a 1.8 litre Toyota Altis, the small TSI can push the 1,126kg car along at roughly 10 km per litre in the rough city roads without any real effort at saving fuel.
The 14-plus km per litre claimed by VW might only be achieved by more careful driving on smoother uncongested highways.
Much of the controls for the stereo, air-con, lights and wipers are the hardy basic VW stuff without too much electronic hoopla. The standard RCD 310 stereo booms with a vibrant intensity.
The Polo also comes with plenty of safety ‘features’ (read: European base- standard safety requirements) such as electronic stability, anti-slip regulator, anti-lock brakes, etc which are only partially matched by ‘premium’ variants of local makes.
What the free lucky Polo offers is a very easy drive for your pocket when you risk buying a property at PIHex 2013.
