Cock and Bull Cafe-Bar-Gourmet-Asian Cuisine-Music at Jesselton Point

Formerly known as the Kota Kinabalu Ferry Terminal, Jesselton Point Waterfront has become one of the main city attractions in Kota Kinabalu ever since its privatization in February 2006. Jesselton Point Waterfront serves as the only ferry terminal for Labuan-bound passengers as well as the main (and cheapest) boat terminal for the Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park and Gayana Island.

Jesselton Point Waterfront also offers casual dining, leisure and retail experiences with its array of alfresco F&B outlets, handicraft stalls, and a four-court futsal centre. In addition, fishing aficionados are now welcome to spend the evening fishing at the jetty from 6pm to 6am  (fee payable at the Suria Futsal Centre). However, fishing gears are not provided so visitors need to bring their own.

In the near future, the Jesselton Point Waterfront is going to be expanded to cater more recreational, commercial, residential, and retail facilities. Having been the venue for the KK Jazz Festival 2007, the Jesselton Point Waterfront jetty is also bookable for social functions, be it dinner parties, fundraising concerts or even weddings.

After a long hard day at work, the Jesselton Point Waterfront is an excellent place to wind down and catch the breathtaking sunset! In the evening, bask in the cool Sabahan breeze while chilling out with family and friends. It makes a perfect spot for a romantic outing too.

My friend ask me to join for Merdeka eve celebration downtown, meeting up at Cock n Bull for dinner. It was a great idea to dine here cause I'm craving for some junk food for dinner, burger indeed. Sometime we should give in to our body craving, if we are craving for red meat we might be deficiency of iron or fats in our body system. If you're craving for sweet, maybe you're having low sugar level or maybe depression as well. Food does make people happy but that's a short term effect, it stimulate the serotonin to release endorphine, we are recommended to exercise for the happy endorphine rather than to turn to food when we are stress cause putting on weight will make us more depressed later. Ooops! Sorry for the lecturing again.
I didn't join my friends for the Merdeka celebration, I went straight home after dinner, have to fininsh some paperwork.

Very nice mushroom soup, cooked with fresh mushroom, strong herbs and garlic aroma.
Chili and Chili sauce
Deep Fried Basung Fish
Must try! Fried till crispy, even bone can be eaten, dip with sambal belacan....mmmm
Beef Burger, RM16.00
Tasted ok, thick juicy meat...but lack of some Ooomph!
Burger...burger... gonna eat you now, don't worry I'm going to enjoy every bite of you, ha!
Claypot Seafood Noodle, RM8.00
Hmmm not recommended, noodle smell very strong preservative chemical, thicken soup, it will be better if they use pan mee. Mee Goreng Mamak is a better choice, I've tried it my last visit.
Seafood Fried rice for take away and we top it with our Ikan Basung, RM8.00
