Norita Tom Yam is a Malay's restaurant located in Likas area, Kota Kinabalu. Besides Tom Yam, Sup Tulang (Beef Bone Soup) is another signature dish of the shop.

Lotteria is a chain of fast-food restaurants in East Asia that grew out of its first shop in Tokyo, Japan in September 1972. Taking its name from its parent company, Lotte, it currently has franchises in Japan, China, Taiwan, South Korea, Indonesia, Vietnam, and Myanmar. Lotteria's most popular menu items are hamburgers, cheeseburgers, and teriyaki burgers. It invented its other popular item, the shrimp burger, in 1977, which has since been copied by McDonald's and MOS Burger in Japan. Its menu includes typical fast-food items such as burgers, fried potato, fried chicken, chicken wings, and chicken fingers.

Sky Hotel or Qing Tian Coffee Shop at Chulia Street is a place where you can find a good and famous char siew. This coffee shop well known to many local Penang, serves the best Char Siew and Siew Yoke. Make sure you come earlier before 12pm to avoid the huge lunch time crowd.

The black truffle has a starring role in the food at Lafite, the French restaurant at the Shangri-La Hotel, Kuala Lumpur, from 23 February to 21 March 2015 . It has been declared the Black Truffle Month, and Lafite will showcase this gourmet treasure from Perigord, France, known as the black diamond of the kitchen. This highly prized edible mushroom exudes a unique and enticing aroma that has wowed diners all over the world.

Ais Tingkap or better known as Windows Sherbet located just a few blocks away from the famous Teow Chew Cendol. This business has been pass down for 4 generations since 1930′s. The name Ais Tingkap originates from the way they sell this drink when they got started. They serve their drink right out from their windows. This drink is only avaailable in Penang and at this stall only.

Kedai Kopi Seng Thor located at Kimberley Street serve a good Koay Teow Theng, it is an instant cook type. Koay Teow Theng is a popular Penang hawker food of flat rice noodles cooked in clear soup and topped with slices of pork meat, minced pork, pork innards and fish balls. This is garnished with garlic bits, fried pork fat and scallions. Koay Teow Theng is usually served with a condiment of sliced chilli in soy sauce, either the big, red chilli or the hotter small green chilli.

Kedai Kopi Seow Fong Lye at Lorong Macalister, this coffee shop was always packed! Early morning people were already seen lining up at the Chee Cheong Fun stall  and the Char Koay Kak stall was equally as famous. Chee Cheong Fun stall operate from early morning until noon, but during peak season (Public holidays and weekends) the noodles may run out before 12pm.
