Tokyo Shokudo, a fun and comfy setting Japanese restaurant that newly opened at Mid Valley. I have sampled their Chicken Teriyaki Set at lunch which is pretty good and tasty. The offer quite a choices of value set for lunch. Services was quite good too.

Chinese New Year celebrations are never complete without the customary dish, "Yee Sang". Tai Zi Heen at Prince Hotel, Kuala Lumpur invites you to "Loh Hei" with different varieties of Yee Sang from 5 January to 6 February 2012. Tai Zi Heen @ Prince Hotel is an ideal venue for business and family dining, with a perfect private dining restaurant for celebrations, dinner gathering and intimate wedding dinner reception. The restaurant has a seating capacity of 180 persons with 5 private dining rooms. It opens daily for lunch from 12 noon to 2:30pm daily and dinner is served from 6:30pm to 10:30pm daily.

Don't worry they do serve other dishes without bitter gourd, in fact serve a wide range of dishes, specializes in bittergourd incorporated food and drinks, reasonable prices. To keep your order fast and simple, ask the captain for recommendation. On weekday afternoons it's a little hard to find parking.

  Nasi Lemak is a delicacy in Malaysia which could be enjoy anytime during the day. Located in Kolombong Giant's food court, Nasi Lemak JB stall offer a decent plate of Nasi Lemak at an affordable price.

Chinese New Year is just around the corner. It is the time to revive and strengthen bonds with families and friends. Of course, it is also a time for feasting delightful and auspicious food.

I have admit that we can hardly find a good hawker centre in KL now, especially this one at PJ Old Town which had been in operation for years. Almost every stalls here serves good food and were jam packed during lunch time. I can see mostly people come for the value for money Chicken rice, Hakka Yong Tow Foo and Ice kacang. It wasn't the most comfortable place to dine in but offering good food, that's the most important aspect.
