Bella day out and photography session with staffs. Tamparuli Fried Noodle is another well known noodle in Sabah, named after the town it was originated. Tamparuli is a small town located next to Tuaran, you'll be passing by if you're on the way to Ranau and Mt. Kinabalu. Restoran Wun Chiap is a family-run restaurant, located next to Bank Simpanan Nasional (BSN). Many customers are willing to travel as far as Kota Kinabalu just to enjoy a plate of this original Tamparuli Noodle. The noodle here is hand made, then fried and top with BBQ pork (Char Siew), Egg Pork Roll, eggs and veggies. After dining in, most people will buy take-away (tapau) for family and friends. We stop at this shop after visiting the poultry farm for photography session.

The Cantonese name Yau Char Kwai also known as Chinese crullers, literally means "oil-fried devil" is a long, golden brown, deep-fried dough. According to folklore, the creation of Yau Char Kwai is an act of protest against Song Dynasty, Chancellor Qin Hui, who is said to have orchestrated the plot to frame the general Yue Fei, an icon of patriotism in Chinese culture. It is said that the food, represents Qin Hui and his wife, both having a hand in collaborating with the enemy to bring about the great general's demise. Thus the Yau Char Kwai is deep fried and eaten as if done to the traitorous couple. In keeping with the legend, Yau Char Kwai are often made as two foot-long rolls of dough joined along the middle, with one roll representing the husband and the other the wife.
