Penang Village Location: Lower Ground Floor, Near Digi $$-$$$ Ratings: Food: 3/5 Service: 3/5 Cleanliness: 3/5 We were having late dinner tonight. By the time we reach 1Borneo, it was almost 8.30pm. Then, I remember Penang Village serves Set Meal which I had never try, so, we just had a quick dinner there. We order the set for 2 persons. Sweet and Sour Fish It tasted okay. The fish fillets is crispy and the sauce is good. Tomato Rice The Tomato Rice is a  little bit too soggy. It was very sticky and the taste is just so-so. Stir-fry Kailan with Salted Fish The vegetables tasted not bad. Nothing to be shout home about. The Set cost RM30 They are doing some renovation, very soon, we can see a new face-lift of the restaurant.

Little Italy Kota Kinabalu City Centre (Opposite Wisma Merdeka, same building as Capitol Hotel) This restaurant is one of the hottest and most crowded restaurant, regardless of weekday or weekend. It is not only famous place to dine in for tourists, due to its strategic location in town and surrounded by hotels, also famous for the locals. Looking by its name, could already guess they are serving Italian food. We went there on my uncle's actual birthday, with a friend of him, whom just got back from London for holiday in KK. My uncle already decided couple weeks before his big day that we must go there on his birthday for the baked sandwich, which is a must as it is everyone's favourite. :+) Homemade Lemonade It's a must drink for us whenever we dine in there. Not too sweet, but very refreshing lemon taste. And you will be surprised with the tiny hint of saltiness. :=) guess that's their 'secret recipe' for a good lemonade. What is your comfort food? Chocolate is the most common answer. To me, my comfort food is seafood, especially crabs. I love the succulent taste of the fresh seafood, truly stress-free just by having it. I was feeling stress recently, so my boyfriend brought me to Welcome Seafood Restaurant for a scrumptious meal to release stress. Tung Fung Lo I don't really know what its call in English. Tung Fung Lo is best to be steamed and eaten with some chili sauce. To eat the meat from the shell, toothpick is needed. The meat tasted a little sweet on its own. Butter Prawns The prawns was rich in butter flavour, yet still tasted fresh and with a hint of sweetness. Butter Crabs As long as it is crabs, I will love the dish. Some will think that it tasted a little bit greasy, but I just love the taste of the crabs no matter how they cooked it. Fried Noodle Steamed Prawns The best way to eat fresh prawns. It was Saturday, our movie day and fast food day again! That's our routine. We went to Mcdonald. Hope that you are not bored with our fast food post because we love fast food. McD Fried Chicken Set, McChicken Set and Big Mac Set Big Mac is Jack's favourite. He won't miss it if he happen to dine at McD. He love the beefy taste. The burger is filling enough for him to satisfy his big appetite. McChicken is always Monica's choice. It was too filling but it tasted great. She love the chicken patty. As for me, I just love fast food and chili sauce. Anything that goes well with chili sauce will do. This time, I opted for Fried Chicken. After food, we watched a great movie. That's how our Saturday goes.

Sri Maju Steamboat Location: Next to Fook Yuen $$-$$$ Ratings: Food: 5/5 Service: 4/5 Cleanliness: 4/5 We had a lunch appointment with Jane today. First time having steamboat for lunch and it was good. It cost RM30 per pax but plenty of ingredients are given. The fish balls, fish slices, beef and fresh prawns were all tasted fresh. The broth was flavourful too. We were given a special peanut sauce which tasted sweet and fragrantly good. It makes the food tasted extra flavourful. We enjoyed the steaming hot food while chit chatting. That's the best thing of steamboat. Fresh food Fresh Veggies Thanks Jane for the lunch!! I guessed this is the best steamboat in KK. The boss with the big fish (Loh Tun Fish) A Singaporean Food Critic is visiting the restaurant soon. After food, we visited to Jane's office. That's Nicole, her cute doggy. She is very playful.
