Restaurant 131 @ Jalan Bundusan (Opposite vegetables Market)

Image
It is just a few more days to go before New Year arrive. With holiday mood around, we are really getting out of idea of place to eat. Passing by Beverly Hills, we saw this Restaurant 131 and decided to give it a try. Looking at the small crowds in the restaurant, we were not quite confident with their food. In addition, it took years for the boss to come over and take orders which really make us pissed off. However, the service of the staffs who serves the food to us were quite good which I think will deserve a compliment. Come back to the food that we ordered, the Steamed Tilapia with Bean Paste Sauce were quite good. The fish is fresh and cooked to perfection. Although it is not the best in town but still worth a try. As for other dishes which were mostly recommended by the boss, tasted just average and nothing to write home about. In fact, I don't quite like the pork ribs because it was quite fat. Anyway, I will still be back for the seafood as I think it will be quite good...

Hawker Stall @ OUG, Kuala Lumpur

Image
Whenever I'm in KL mum will sure buy me my favourite food Chee Cheong Fun and Wanton Mee from OUG area, hawker food are so delicious in KL. When I reach home after gym, "The Star" newspaper will be on the dining table and mum will warm up the food for me. Oh! Mikey, will be greeted by my doggy at the door, what a lovely morning. You can hardly find any good Chee Cheong Fun in Kota Kinabalu, cause they don't serve with sweet bean sauce, they serve with oyster sauce (taste awful), you will not find the sweet bean sauce even when you go to the market in KK, in KL is available everywhere. Wanton noodle in KK also different - the texture of the noodle, and Char-siu as well -not as tasty as the KL one.   Chee Cheong Fun, RM3.80 Wanton Mee, RM4.00 Ratings: Food: 5/5 Services: 3/5 Cleanliness: 3/5 Today Meditation Realizing our potential can show us our self-worth, and it can help us to develop our self-confidence and self-reliance. If we bring it forth, ...

Thought of signing up for Digi Balckberry 8520 package today, terminated my phone line from Maxis, don't like to use Maxis. Everytime I used Maxis, my luck get bad, business deal unsuccessful and almost no incoming call, broken relationship with friends and love one, I try not to believe it but it happens. I guess Digi works better for me, wanted to keep the old number but I terminated the number from Maxis, no longer can apply for it again, but it's ok, not a nice number anyway, keeping the old number just because I want people to be abble to contact me, hmm..have to send everyone my new number later when I get the new phone. Currently Digi run out of Blackberry stocks cause to many people signed up for it, new stocks arrival, unknown. Package price RM1199 for the phone and RM58(monthly fee) one month advance payment for internet access, no contract, that's the attractive part I guess. Repeatedly I went back to HK Recipes for dinner whenever I go to 1Borneo, cause can...

PS. Cafe, Singapore

Image
Greetings from Singapore once again! It is back to reality and i took the first flight out of KL from LCCT to Singapore Changi Airport this morning! How was your Christmas? I think Christmas is not only the season to be jolly and the season to be merry but It is also the season to feast and eat and perhaps gain a few happy pounds from all the sinfully good food ?! No?! Well in my case, it probably is. Had a massive christmas lunch feast on Friday with my mom whipping up some amazing dishes but that's another post altogether. Normally, I'll make a point to have my breakfast at OldTown Kopitiam when i am at LCCT, but my previous experience has told me that their service is very slow and the the food takes a long time to arrive. Seeing that I only had 20 minutes before departure, i thought I'll just give Theobrama Chocolate place a try. I have tasted it many times in Melbourne, I wondered if the coffee will taste just as good here in KL! The ambiance and setting is identic...
