About Luigi Malones
Luigi Malones has a history going back over 30 years, operated in Germany, England, Ireland and now in Malaysia. Luigi Malones serves the best authentic comfort food from around the world. Menu changes every few months and comprises dishes from Italy, Spain, Portugal, US, France, Japan, Thailand, Morocco, Mexico, India, Argentina, Russia, Barbados, Brazil, Poland, China, Ireland an Hawaii.

Luigi Malones make their own sauces, chilis, bbq's and mayonnaise. Baking their own breads, desserts and their pizza dough are left to be slow ferments for up to 3 days. All of the dishes are cooked to order and using the best ingredients available. They don't use msg or any chemical addictives or flavoring on their food.

Luigi Malones KK was designed and built using a mix of locally sourced material and some antiques imported from Europe to create a warm and comfortable environment for dining and time out with family and friends.

The magnificent front doors are from the Savoy Hotel in London. They were the original entrance doors to the Grand Ballroom of the hotel 1920. The solid walnut reception desk is from the Bank of England, Threadneedle St c.1936 and was the foreign exchange desk from the general public hall. The foreign exchange sign is from the same hall. Both antiques were purchased in 1979 and have them in storage for the right restaurant to fit into.

Tables are made from Railway Sleepers sourced from the Old North Borneo Railway line. Each Sleeper was cut and assembled into the wonderful tables by local craftsman Rodell Villacerain. The bar has been constructed from salvaged driftwoods collected from the beaches of Kudat and topped in hand burnt copper sheets and rivets by local B Gomic.

The beautiful floor is a local hard wood called Billion and the chairs are all handmade from local woods. All the artworks on displayed are done by themselves to create an eclectic atmosphere.
