Labour Day!! Early this morning, we had a short 'makan' trip to Tuaran with Paul and Shirley. It took about 45 minutes to reach Tuaran from KK. Most of the restaurant in Tuaran serve Tuaran Mee and it is hard for the non-locals to really guess which is the best Tuaran Mee in town.

Paul is the expert of where to find good food in Tuaran, so, we just tagged along.
Pork Roll and Pork Ball Soup
The soup was light but tasted good. The pork roll tasted very fresh while the pork ball was springy.
Tuaran Mee Soup
The Tuaran Mee was really springy and tasted very special. The soup was sweet and savoury which really goes well with the noodle.
Fried Tuaran Mee
The Char Siu tasted really flavourful, good marination. The Fried Tuaran Mee was not too dry nor too wet or soggy. It was just right. Tasted very good and it's really different from what we can get in KK town.
Fried Sayur Manis with Egg
They forgotten that we ordered Fried Sayur Manis with Egg. When they found out, it was fried in a rush. It tasted pretty salty.
Braised Yam with Pork
Yummy!! The Braised Yam with Pork was really really good! The yam and the pork was very flavourful and it was soft until it can melt in your mouth.
After having a scrumptious breakfast, we walked around at Tuaran Market. Fresh seafood, vegetables and kuihs are sell in the market.
