Bella Italia, Hotel Jesselton 69, Jalan Gaya, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah $$$ Open for Breakfast, Lunch, Snack and Dinner Ratings: Food: 4.5/5 Services: 5/5 Cleanliness: 5/5 Visit reviewed: 28/01/2010 Still remember, during my first Valentines Day with Jack, we celebrated at Bella Italia. It was my very first visit to Bella Italia back then. We ordered a pizza and a pasta with cream sauce and the meal ended up with full satisfaction. After a year, finally I had the chance to revisit the restaurant again. With Angeline and Elaine around, we can order more dishes to try out. Honestly, I really enjoy the food at Bella Italia more than Little Italy. Starter (F.O.C.) Pizza 12" with 3 Topping's, RM28.00 The Margherita Pizza comes with a choice of 6" or 12" and you can choose your own toppings. Each topping cost an extra RM2. Visit reviewed: 9/11/2009 and 16/01/2010 Thought of going for Bak Kut Teh tonight, raining season, great time to have some warming food, too bad no luck at all, everywhere are crowded. We walk around the town just to look for an empty seat or table for dinner, finally we found one in Ang's Hotel Restaurant , so we settle here. As usual the service was poor here, wait for 15mins for them to take order but food were served in minutes, great! Hmm make sure you know waht you want to order before the captain come, if not sometime they're a bit impatience and you get scolded, don't balme them, restaurant to crowded, working non-stop. I order Fish Head Curry, well don't order this - not good, I wanted to order steamed fish but it will take a long time to cook so I opt. for Curry Fish Head and the winter melon soup also not good - strong ginger aroma, don't like it, I ordered Water Cress Soup but sold out. Then the other 2 dishes were my usual favorite dish. This is one o...

Food Court @ Beverly Open till 3:00am $$ Ratings: Food: 3.5/5 Services: 3/5 Cleanliness: 3/5 Visit reviewed: 27/01/2010 Teochew Porridge Back in KL, I used to love eating Teochew Porridge at Cheras area. I love the Braised Duck, Braised Tofu and Braised Egg there. Not to forget, the simple dishes such as Fried Luncheon Meat and Fried Eggs with Preserved Raddish are also some of the good dishes to go with plain porridge. I can have it all day long. It had been a long time since the last time I saw a Teochew Porridge's stall in KK. When Angeline suggested to go to the Food Court at Beverly for the Tai Chow , I'm surprised to see a stall selling Teochew Porridge there. Of course we wouldn't let go the chance of having the Teochew Porridge! We ordered some dishes from the Tai Chow 's stall and ordered the Teochew Porridge. Mei Chai Chu Rou (Pork with Preserved Mustard) The Mei Chai Chu Rou is kind of salty but did go well with the plain porridge. It would ta...
