It is always a pleasure attending invite by Hyatt. If you don’t already know, Hyatt has completely redone their décor, with Less Is More principle the factor in everything fixtures and fittings. But the food is anything but less. It is bountiful, delicious, and oh so pleasant to the eye, not only because food is decorated artistically, but prepared fresh in full transparent view, so every single corner is now an action counter, with food made to order, which not only keeps them fresh and warm, but also reduce wastage.

These little burgers with its had rolled patties were moist and juicy, with minimal seasoning so that you can feel the freshness of the beef. The lasagne was also awesome, with one bite and you really feel like saying “wow! Unreal man! Totally delicious!” While their pizza has a, simple, not complicated but with deep rich flavour from home-made sauces, derived from local ingredients.

With so many star-studded appearance it is hard to pick a winner. Vying for your vote and never once losing their footing is the Malay food corner. Here they did everything correctly right off the bat.

The fiery grill produces so many satay, whole fish, chicken wings, and it is all good from top to bottom

The Oxtail asam pedas which is a staple is filled with rich and intense flavour that you just wanna shut off the world and soak in the fun, while their various curry and rendang has layers of depth of taste, texture and flavour.

The Chinese dishes was hearty and you can tell it is prepared skilfully and with passion. Choose from authentic tasting chicken rice, lots of stir fried accompaniments and their revered dim sum; also, Sabah-styled ngiu chap is put up on offer. With so many dishes packed under one roof, it is really little China Town.

The lamb ribs is one the most popular go to counter, with its moist, soft, tender meat and smooth texture; also, it is simply gorgeous to look at.

Desserts are plenty abound, from traditional kueh to tantalizing custards, sweets and local and imported fruits. ABC is a must, and it is always fun fiddling with the ice shaving appliance. Donuts, Churros, Waffles and local apam, all prepared fresh before you just ignite the child-in-the-candy shop in everyone (almost literally). The management team deserves all sorts of applaud for bringing together such a winning combination of good food and breath taking ambiance.
