My Return to Marco Polo 12.7.2020
With a strong foundation of providing good food and service for the last 40 years, I am glad to inform you that Marco Polo has re-opened it's door for business, albeit at a much more comfortable but reduced seating capacity, set about to comply with new business and health regulations in relation to the new normal post-MCO. With assuaging old-school ambience, generous spacing between tables and an attentive staff devoted to sanitizing and cleanliness, patrons of Marco Polo can be assured of their safety and solace whilst here.
The world is much different today post-MCO and while the threat of Covid-19 looms at large, we can still enjoy a decent quality of life outdoors with some pre-cautions. For me, I just wanted some good Dim Sum and the opportunity for some human contact after months of living alone. You can see in the pictures for yourself how it is now.

Business Hours: Open Daily
9.30 am to 2.30pm
6.00 pm to 10.30 pm
SPECIAL NOTE: Dim Sum is available everyday from 11.00am to 2.30pm.
As a whole, there is a dizzying array of Dim Sum offered at Marco Polo, but here is what I tried from their steamed, baked and fried variety, as well as some additional items from their ala carte menu. I warrant that the food here is good, I also did justice to their Chee Cheong Fun and being part Teochew, my favourite dish hands down has got to be their congee! My favourites are marked with a thumbs up, with two thumbs up being a must try!

Guests are provided with two pairs of chopsticks each, one pair white and the other black. The reason being for hygienic purposes. You just have to remember to use one set for taking dishes from the lazy susan, whereas the other is used to feed yourself.
Marco Polo offers a very good selection of items on their menu, which you can access here. For my visit today, it was mainly for Dim Sum, which is now going for 30% off the ala carte bill until the end of August 2020.
At the time of this writing, here is a list of their Dim Sum, quoted directly from their in-house order sheet:

Currently, with the post-MCO and the new normal, many are taking up the offer to buy takeaway food hand-delivered by the restaurant itself. Marco Polo took some time to come up with a new menu, available exclusively for takeaway. They call it "Boost Your Immunity" offer, specially prepared foods that comes in three categories designed to offer you health benefits. Well, you know what they say, you are what you eat.
If you would like to take up this offer, give them a call at 603-21412233. That is it for another write-up from me, until the next food adventure, M signing off and imploring you to stay safe!
