The CHUB's Grill @ Karamunsing Capital

There is a new grill in town located at the self proclaimed food avenue, that we all come to know as karamunsing capital. It's located as the same row of Restaurant Puteri Hang Li Por at the opposite end of Ipoh Town. So what differentiates other existing establishement from this joint is that this place takes on a very american approach. This is evident from the decor or more specifically the menu board. It radiates a very American mid western ambiance to its diners. I must say, this is one of the very few of its kind in our little sleepy town.

The CHUB'S Grill .....LOVE ON FIRST BITE

It has 4 selection of meat: chicken, beef, lamb and pork. Not a good news to our Muslim friends but further emphasizes the American feel. As the name suggest this is a grill only restaurAnt. So you won't expect deep fried chicken.

Don't Play With Your Food, Doesn't Apply When You're Eating Barbecue. If you don't get it on your shirt, you're not doing it right. This is primal, elemental, sensual eating. Pure carnal joy. So, who needs comfort food when we can have happy food.

Each meat is served with fresh vege salad, buttered garlic bread, boiled corn and either fries or seasoned red bean rice.

The sweet corn and vege is a nice accompanyment. High in fibers

The grill was simply exquisite with bits of burnt slightly bitter parts. Indicating that this was grilled on a rack not a pan. Also, all the meat were very juicy and tender.. you may be forgiven if you forget your table manners as the tableware are optional.
