Kedai Kopi Towering Baru is one of the Bak Kut Teh shop which is well-known among the locals in Penampang area. The restaurant which is located at Towering, occupying a middle shop facing the roadside, attracted a bunch of people every night who came specially for their superior Bak Kut Teh's broth.

Bak Kut Teh (2 persons serving)
The Bak Kut Teh's owner just simply goes generous with its ingredients. The 2 persons serving size is huge enough to feed a group of 3 people. As we ordered a mixture of ingredients, it comes with pork offal, pork intestine, pork ball, pork belly, pork ribs and beancurd skin. The superior broth was infused with delicious herbs and tasted savoury with a hint of sweetness.
 
 
 
 
Chinese crullers
Chinese crullers, also known as Yau Char Kwai, is a great accompaniment to Bak Kut Teh. Dip it into the broth before consumption, it will absorb all the great flavour of the Bak Kut Teh. 
Lettuces
Never have a meal without any greens. The lettuces was blanched and seasoned with oyster sauce, garnished with fried garlic.

This humble Thai Style Ngiu Chap's stall might not be well-known by the locals. However, it is questionable if it could be one of the best Ngiu Chap in KK apart from the famous Ngiu Chap at Kah Hiong, Lai Heng Baru and Sin Nyuk Pau.
