Dragon-i @ Pavilion

Dragon-i Restaurant, Lot 1.13.00,
Level 1, Pavilion Kuala Lumpur,

Dragon-i, the popular chain of Shanghainese Restaurant in Klang Valley that serves some of the best and most authentic Shanghainese cuisine. It had been featured in the blog for numerous time, hence, I'm going to cut out the craps for today.
Xiao Lung Bao
In case you missed out the previous posts, Xiao Lung Bao is one of the signature dish of the restaurant. Juicy pork filling with thin dumpling skin. Be careful during the consumption as you may not want to burn your lips or tongue.
La Mian with Shanghainese Pork Chop
Another signature dish of the restaurant was the La Mian. Springy and smooth texture of noodle to go with a few choice of soup base. I chose the La Mian with Shanghainese Pork Chop which served with clear soup. Flavourful soup.
La Mian with Shanghainese Pork Chop
The outer layer of the Pork Chop was crispy but the meat was still tender and juicy. Savoury taste. It was good.
Deep Fried Beancurd
Lightly seasoned with salt and pepper. The beancurd was crispy, smooth, creamy yet flavourful.
Deep Fried Shrimp Roll
Succulent prawns wrapped with beancurd roll and deep fried till golden brown. Tasty.
Shrimp with Salted Egg Yolk
Juicy Shrimp coated with salted egg yolk. Cholesterol loaded dish which was so sinful yet delicious. The creamy and savoury taste of the egg yolk just goes well with the shrimp which was sweet and juicy.
Lotus Paste Pastry
The sweet-savoury taste of the Lotus Paste Pastry was good.
Stir-Fried Carrot Cake
The Stir-Fried Carrot Cakes consisted of carrot cake, bean sprouts, Chinese chives, prawns, Chinese sausages and egg. The savoury wok taste is the main element for the good flavour of the dish.
