Mines Resort City—Palace of the Golden Horses is proud to present its Selera Kampung Buffet, a special culinary event to celebrate Ramadan with traditional flavors and the essence of Malaysian cuisine. Featuring a variety of carefully selected dishes, guests can enjoy a diverse array of flavors that represent Malaysia's cultural diversity and heritage, ensuring a memorable dining experience for all who join.
The Selera Kampung Buffet will be hosted at Palace of the Golden Horses’ Royal Ballroom from March 15th to April 7th, 2024. Available every Friday through Sunday, it offers a delightful array of dishes carefully curated to celebrate the spirit of togetherness during this sacred month.
Featuring three rotating menus packed with an extensive selection of mouthwatering delicacies, guests will be treated to an exquisite spread of traditional favorites. Hhighlights of the menu include hot dishes such as 'Ayam Masak Rose A-la Kampung', 'Daging Salai Lemak Cili Api Sambal Prawn with Petai', 'Labu Masak Lemak Pucuk Manis', 'Ayam Kampung Masak Gulai Utara', as well as Lemongrass and Chili Crab. Other offerings include grilled fish and seafood, roasted chicken, roasted duck, roasted lamb leg with herbs and garlic, roasted beef, and an assortment of satay.
Seafood enthusiasts can enjoy the Seafood on Ice selection, featuring tiger prawn, manila clam, mussel, flower crab, and scallop clam. The noodle stall will also have a wide variety of options like Laksa Utara, Penang Char Kway Teow, and Mee Mamak. Moreover, guests can indulge in an array of delectable desserts, with options such as Ice Kacang ABC, Cendol, and an enticing selection of European delights including cheesecake, velvet cake, rolled cakes, and cookies.
Adding to the ambiance, guests will be serenaded by the enchanting melodies of Seloka Warisan, a three-piece live band performing a diverse setlist ranging from Traditional Malay tunes to Mix International hits in Chinese, Arabic, and English, as well as Pop Malay favorites. Guests can capture memories with friends and family through a fun-filled 360° experience photobooth located in the foyer area.
For just RM128, adults can indulge in a delightful spread of mouthwatering dishes at the Selera Kampung buffet, while children aged 6 to 12 years old can join for just RM50. Seniors aged 60 and above can also savor the buffet at a discounted rate of RM60. Additionally, corporate groups can benefit from an exclusive offer of RM90nett per pax for a minimum of 300 pax.
Furthermore, guests can also enjoy a leisurely game of golf at Mines Resort & Golf Club, conveniently situated near Palace of the Golden Horses, during the Ramadan period with a special Ramadan promotion. Prices start from RM260, inclusive of 18 holes of golf inclusive of sharing a Buggy and a Caddy. Tee times are available from 12:30 pm, Tuesday to Friday afternoon (except on public holidays), providing guests with the perfect opportunity to play golf at a lower rate.
